Several months ago, my friend’s daughter was expressing her frustrations about losing weight.  She had just joined the Navy and in order to make it to boot camp she needed to lose 20-30 pounds.  Here is her e-mail that I received last week.  Yay! Andrea!

Hey Nancy you said that you wanted a testimonial about the weight i lost using the wraps and everything else and how I lost all of that horrible weight.  Hope this helps.

About three months ago I was about 185 lbs and I wanted to lose weight.  When I first started my dieting it took me two weeks of cutting carbs (no soda, no pasta, and only bread in the morning.  I also walked a mile and a half two days a week and did about 200 crunches a week as a part of an excercise plan I made for myself.  After two weeks of that I was 178lbs and I still wanted to lose more weight.  That is when I first started using It Works products.

I used the wraps, the defining gel, and fat fighters.  I would use two wraps per week and took 2 fat fighters per day.  I also used the defining gel when I would walk / run.  I also continued the same diet and exercise routine. When I first measured myself with the measuring tape my measurements were for the top- 39 inches, Middle-38 inches Bottom-41 inches then I wrapped myself for the first time and my measurements went to Top-37 inches Middle-37 inches Bottom-40 inches. Two months later i am at a great weight for a six foot girl at 159 lbs.  Now my measurements are Top-31 inches Middle-35 inches Bottom 36.5 inches.  Now I feel great about myself and I am not afraid to go to the beach in a bikini.  It also feels great to work out and not so hard anymore.

What a TOTAL It Works! Marketing Day!

From beginning to end this has been a TOTAL It Works! Marketing Day.  It started off with follow up to a Bridal Expo from Your Wedding TV Expo in Orlando on Sunday, January 4th…now that was a beautiful thing.  Brides who want to look fabulous in their dress or lose from 30-50 pounds before their wedding.  And the really wonderful thing is that with It Works, it can really happen.  It is so simple, all you have to do is take the Ultimate Body CALLENGE for 3-6 months or the FITpack Plus Challenge for 6-12 months.

Next came a meeting with the Canadian Connection!….yes, It Works is going into Canada!  Met the new Canadian Connection at the Palm Beach Airport to discuss the business and how it would work in Canada.  Although the Canadians are close geographically, they do some things differently. 

Then it was off to a wrap party with inch loss galore & one bloat.  The three women lost a total of 4 1/2 inches, but one of the women bloated with a 2 inch increase.  You know that is good, because by tomorrow, she will have all of the toxins out of her body and her inch loss will be greater.  Why you may ask?? 

• Don’t be alarmed…this is actually a good thing! The Applicator will cause the toxins in the body to get stirred up, which will initially cause the body to bloat and produce an apparent gain in inches. Drinking a large amount of water within the next couple of days following the use of the Applicator will allow the body to flush the toxins and many have then seen significant inch loss as a result!

Thanks so much for your e-mail.  ;o)  I’m sorry I wasn’t able to get back to you until now.  We were out of town for the holidays, then I got a bad flu bug.  I’m just getting back to people now.

Yes…the products arrived just before Thanksgiving.  I do love the wraps.  When I spoke to you, though, it was off the top of my head regarding the inch loss.  After the three days, I lost a total of 6.2 inches.  When I’m done with this bug and feeling more energized, I’m going to do the wraps again.

One question…it says that the fat loss is not permanent, that it’s for months.  Is that your experience?  I guess that’s why you would continue to use them on an ongoing basis.

Thanks again for everything.  It was great meeting you and getting to talk more.  I can see that you love doing this and that it’s fun!

P.S.- I thought this was MAJOR B.S. until I tried it. Sounds silly but the first thing out of my mouth was “It Works!” I am still in really great condition and the first time I used the wrap on my abs, we measured (4 times!) a total loss of 2.25 in. at my waist and that was in the time it took to sit in the presentation and listen! And no, it is not about sweating and a matter of fact both sweating and dehydration is detrimental to the process. Get this, you must drink approximately half your bodyweight (in oz. of water) everyday for three days to get the best results because it is a true detox (think- when you get a massage you should drink plenty of water to flush the released toxins). What To Do With Cellulite?

From Jewelry Parties to Wrap Nights, Vote Wraps

This week was another great wrap & lose fat week with 2 Spa Wrap Nights, but first I have to tell you about going to a jewelry party.  I am ever so glad that I am a distributor for It Works and that my products are as easy as pie to sell, and that I never have to be pushy (not that I would be)….but you know how people are.

Anyway, I go to this jewelry party with a friend, not intending to buy anything, but I see this beautiful bracelet with pink stones…just gorgeous.  So you put down what you want to buy and at the end, all of a sudden the rep picks up my sheet, and she says very loudly….oh, I see you want this bracelet, it is $459.  And if you get this bracelet now, you will get this, and this, and this for only $36.  Well, for starters, I was mortified that she had announced out loud what I was spending to everyone there, but it got worse.  She then said, well if you spend another $275, then you get can get 3 more things free.  I thought what?  Spend another $275…is she kidding?  No, she was not kidding.  I looked at my friend, and said, you know, we are late for the movies….let’s go and I’ll decide later.  Decide later means I will never order for me.  What gets into people?  I was spending $500 that I didn’t have, and you want me to spend more?  And the ethics of privacy and just plain manners??? 

My friend and I left and I exclaimed that I am so glad I sell wraps.  It might not be the most glamorous product or high ticket product, but the wraps work, and I don’t have to hard sell.  In fact, all I do, is put on the product, talk about our supplements, then measure, then help with the orders.  This is not rocket science, I don’t have to try hard.  You know that being a distributor for anything takes work and determination, but at least with It Works, I can just be me….I don’t have to be the sales person we love to make fun of…the person that hard sells, or cajoles, or embarrasses.  I just could not imagine the jewelry distributor at a wrap party….she would probably announce my hip size to the crowd.  That would make for some big laughs….okay, today, we have Nancy measuring in at 40″ in the hip area.  We are going to wrap her hips in hopes that we can reduce the hip area.  Total absurdity!  Hands down, I vote for wrapping the night away.  Oh and we lost 32″ this week at wrap nights!
